My Identity Collage

We have been learning about Identity and looking at what makes us all different. I made a collage using Google Drawings that shows things about me and my personality.




I really enjoyed looking for pictures that show things I am interested in. This collage shows some things that I like and some things that I dislike. What kinds of pictures would you put on an Identity collage about you?

Digital Collages

Today we learnt about how to make a digital collage using Google Drawings. A collage is a picture made up of other shapes and textures to create a new image.




My collage is of a Kiwi because I come from New Zealand. I really liked doing this activity because it was great fun.

Life on Mars

We have been learning about pollution and what will happen to Planet Earth in the future if it doesn't stop. We did a piece of writing about what we thought life could be like on Mars.

Life on Mars would be all sandy and we would have no oxygen for there are no trees. It  would be all rusty and Dusty because there are no houses. It would be all Rocky maybe because of the landslides. and when you walk on the surface it would be all hard on your feet.

I liked this piece of writing because it was fun to do and learn about another planet. What do you think life would be like if you lived on Mars?

Reading Skills

In reading we have been learning about beginning and ending sounds of words. We had to remember to look at the word sounds not the letters because some can trick you.


I liked doing this activity because I could find all of the words that started and ended with the right sounds. Did you know that k can be a tricky letter?

My holidays

We learnt that we can publish to our blog before we have finished our work.


I think that it is quite cool that you can publish work to your blog even if it isn't finished. It is so clever how it shows the work on your blog as you do it.

My Unbelievable Story.

We have been working on photo-shopping images and creating stories to go with these images.


One day I went to space in my car. My car is the fastest car in the whole entire world it has boosters to make it fly. When you want it to fly, you press the green button which makes wings come out from the side of the car. The boosters come out from the back by the exhaust, they shoot out flames like a rocket. When you take off the doors all seal so that you can’t get out.  Once I went so far into space that I landed on the moon. There I found a whole alien school, it was so weird because they were photo shopping just like humans. I watched them photo shop a picture of a Ferrari and turn it into a rocket ship. The aliens then photo shopped themselves and made themselves look like humans! Imagine that, I couldn’t tell which ones were humans or aliens.
